Date/Time
Date(s) - September 9, 2022
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

As part of the national Heritage Open Days festival which takes place every September, we open our doors at the Chancel at All Saint’s Church for four consecutive days between 10th and 13th September. Members of the public can come along and view the war memorials and other items of remembrance we have rescued and/or restored and have been unable to relocate or rehome. Heritage Open Days follow the same format as our regular Open Days.

Visitors are welcomed by Denis Kenyon and Chris Stephens plus others from our bank of volunteers are often on hand to talk with you about the background to each of the memorials etc. we have on display.

There is no entrance charge to view the memorials and there is permanent ramp access for wheelchair and pushchair users. We also have our own toilet facilities.

There are information sheets (story boards) with each exhibit which provide some history on the memorial and the background on how it came to be with us.
