This is the same story as no. 36 Charles Street Baptist Church memorial. The church was amalgamated with Belvoir Street and Charles Street Baptist churches, and this plaque was destined for the scrap yard. Fortunately, the man charged with dealing with it, brought it to us instead.

Victoria Road Baptist Church is now the Leicester Central Seventh Day Adventist Church.
It was built in 1866/1886 in exuberant Decorated Gothic Revival style and was probably the first non-conformist church in Leicester to have a spire.
