Albert Hopwell / Hopewell
Albert was born in 1897 in Knighton, Leicester to Frederick William Hopewell, a shoe laster and Alice (nee Johnson).

In 1901 census the family lived at 203 Clarendon Park Road.
In 1911 they had moved to 252 Clarendon Park Road and Albert was a runabout in a cigar factory.
Albert enlisted on 18.10.1915 as Private 21627 Leicestershire Regiment and served overseas. He was discharged on 27.11.1917, aged 21, and awarded a Silver War Badge, no. 302954 on 14.1.1918.
Presumably he died from his injuries but I do not know where he is buried.
