Albert was born in 1898 in Leicester and baptised on 10.4.1898 at St. Hilda’s Church.
His parents were Willoughby John Pinchess, a hosiery warehouseman, and Ellen (nee Wilson).

In 1901 census the family lived at 108 Berners St, Leicester and in 1911 census they were at 48 Oxenden St.
Albert became Private T/202578 10th Battalion Queen’s Royal West Surrey Regiment and Died of Wounds, aged 19, on 28.9.1917. He is buried at Godeswaersvelde British Cemetery, France and also commemorated at St. Peter’s Church, Leicester.
