Arthur was born in Leicester in 1895 and baptised on 20.3.1900 at St. Mark’s Church. His parents were Arthur Frost, a shoe hand, and Rosina (nee Hargrave). They had 8 children –

In 1901 census the family lived at 8 Martin St. and Arthur senior is listed as a hairdresser.
In 1911 census they lived at 11 Mount Rd. and Arthur senior was a
shoe hand.
Arthur joined the Seaforth Highlanders as Private 6689 but then became Private 242310 114th Seaforth Highlanders. He was Killed in Action on 24.4.1917 and is buried at Feuchy British Cemetery, France.
When Arthur died his family were living at 26 Elm Street.
