Frederick Greaves

In 1891 census the family lived at 46 Britania St., Leicester.
In 1901 census they were at 192 Gresham St. and Frederick was aN errand boy at the shoe warehouse.
In 1911 census they were at 145 Mount Rd. and Frederick was a window cleaner.
Frederick became Lance Corporal 13595 25th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. He was Killed in Action, aged 32, on 17.4.1918 and is buried at Mont-Noir Military Cemetery, St. Jans Cappel, France.
A photograph in Illustrated Chronicle 22.12.1917 Pg 7 shows Frederick, 1 of 5 sons, 1 son in law and 1 grandson of Mr. F. Greaves, 285 Charnwood Street, all serving in the forces.
