Frederick was born on 6.7.1898 in Leicester to George Trickitt, an iron foundry worker, and Betsy (nee ?).

In 1901 census the family lived at 114 Green Lane Rd. and by 1911 census they were at 74 Grove Rd.
Frederick joined the Royal Navy as Boy 1st Class J/35186. He Died, aged 17, on 1.6.1916 at the Battle of Jutland aboard HMS Tipperary. His body was not recovered and he is on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hants.
