Robert & Frederick Warren

In 1881 census the family lived in Glasgow and in 1891 census they had moved to 4 Bakers Loynd, Arbroath.
In 1901 census they were at 14 Leonard St., Arbroath and Robert was
a spirit dealer’s barman.
1907 12th December Robert married Annie Matilda Hobson and they had 3 children –

In 1911 census the Warren family lived at 1 Beaumont Rd., Leicester and Frederick was an apprentice brushmaker.
Robert and his family lived at 10 Edward St., Leicester and he was a shoe finisher.
Robert joined the Leicestershire Regiment as Private 4504 and then became Private 40937 19th Battalion Manchester Regiment. He was Killed in Action, aged 38, on 31.7.1917 and is on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium (Panel 53&55).
