Frederick William And Albert Wilfred Leeson
Frederick was born in 1892 in Rugby and baptised on 23.9.1892 at St. Andrew’s Church, Rugby. Albert was born in 1895 also in Rugby and was baptised at the same church on 7.6.1895. Their parents were Francis William Leeson, a railway engine stoker, and Eliza (nee Hayes).

In 1901 census the family lived at 5 Hunter St., Rugby.
In 1911 census the were at 70 Hartington Rd., Leicester and Francis had become an engine driver. Frederick was a railway clerk and Albert a printer’s apprentice.
Frederick became Sergeant 13064 5th Battalion Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and was Killed in Action, aged 23, on 25.9.1915 aged 23. He is on the Menin Gate (Ypres memorial).
Albert was Sergeant 20366 in the Bedfordshire Regiment then became Sergeant 43150 6th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment. He was Killed in Action, aged 21, on 20.3.1917 and is buried at Croisilles British Cemetery, France.
