Harry was born in 1894 in Leicester and baptised on 21.3.1895 at St. Paul’s church. His parents were Henry (Harry) Weston, a tram driver, and Mary Elizabeth (nee Walton).
They had 4 children –

Ellen Elizabeth 1896

Mary died in 1899, aged 33, leaving Henry with a young family.
In 1901 census the family were living at 37 Shenton Street with a housekeeper, Eliza Atdield. Later that year Henry married Eliza but they had no further children.
In 1911 census they lived at 32 Beaumont Rd, and Harry, aged 16, was a hosiery porter.

Harry enlisted, aged 19, and became Private 11018 8th Battalion Leicestershire Regiment. He was Killed in Action, aged 23, on 27.5.1918 and is on the Soissons Memorial, Aisne, France.
