The War Memorial at Daventry in Northamptonshire also includes two more of the Bree family members.
John & Hannah Bree in Daventry had three sons, John born in 1848, William born in 1850 and Harry born in 1858, although Harry lost 3 sons, his brothers also suffered losses in the War.
Twin brothers Arthur and Aubrey Bree were born in 1896, they were the sons of William and Mary Bree. Arthur was the first in the family to die in the war. He was Killed in Action on 19/4/1917 in Palestine aged 20. He is remembered on the Jerusalem Memorial in Israel.
